1. Where can I or my company purchase your products?  

HazardGuard Safety Wire, Inc is an early-stage company and has recently produced the 'Chameleon' cable clips and spiral wrap line of products for commercial sale and distribution (see HG home page and Ordering Form)). Our production has been limited to the 'Chameleon' products but we do, however, have several qualified commercial US manufacturers available that are capable of incorporating HG technology in other color-changing products for your specific needs (for example cable ties, plugs, cord sets, hook-up wire and cable, etc). Contact us to discuss special ordering of your wire and cable products.
 
 
2. Can my company request samples to evaluate? 

Yes. Please use the contact information on the website to indicate your specific request. HG has many first generation prototypes available, so please indicate what type of product you're interested in receiving. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) may be required prior to sending.
 
 
3. Are your products independently tested?  

Our 'Chameleon' products have been independently tested by CSA /On SpeX for functionality performance. Please see the New Products and News page of our website for a copy of the testing.
 
 
4. How can my company become a HG; retailer, manufacture or distributor? 

We are always interested in hearing from innovative and interested parties. Whether you are an electrical/hardware retailer, wire and cable mfr, a specialty plug and connector shop, a custom polymer/colorant supplier, or distributor/reseller there could be a huge opportunity for you in the commercialization chain. 5. Is your patented technology innovation available to license? 

Absolutely! The human safety aspects, as well as, the ability to reduce property damage, down-time and maintenance costs are compelling reason to get this technology to market as soon as possible. HG owns the exclusive patent to this technology application and understands the need for high quality and production standards. And since identifying the best licensees may take time to occur, HG is open to discuss licensing with all appropriate companies.
 
 
6. How expensive is your technology material? 

Great question! The thermochromic material used for typical consumer cords will only cost a few pennies/foot extra to produce. License fees would be extra and are dependent on the nature of the applications and market desired. Contact HG to discuss your specific interests.
 
7. Can we visit your office/facility or arrange to have you visit our office/facility?  

Our primary office is located in Pittsburgh, Pa. We can meet and/or demonstrate our products here or at your site.
