Cord Protectors and Other Electrical Connectors

Cord Protectors in various sizes may include various features such as;

• Visual change of colors if/when the underlying wire or cable incurs some dangerous heat level build-up
• Bitter (or foul) tasting to discourage pets, animals and infants from chewing on electrical cords and plugs
• Odiferous (or foul) smelling to discourage pets, animals and infants from chewing on electrical cords. Cord protectors can be manufactured to release  more fragrance (or odor) at elevated temperatures. Practical for visually impaired users and/or hidden wiring.
• Deformable (as in a deformable/blister label or polymer) to alert the user to a cord that may have exceeded manufacture's specifications or warranties.
• Audible sounds (think nano-size 'bubble-wrap' particles) alerting the user of excess heat occurring in the underlying wire or cable.

Heat-Shrink tubing, Wire Connectors, Cable; Ties, Clips, Clamps, Markers, etc.

• Simple, inexpensive and easy to apply to the 'weakest link' connection point or splice in wiring systems.
• Can also be applied to existing wiring systems in various colors and temperatures for identification, installation, cable management and maintenance purposes.
