Defective cords can cause electrical over-heating and major property damage, but our new, easy-to-use products are designed to alert the customer of over-heating cord sets.  HazardGuard's technology makes it possible to inspect a potentially defective cord without even touching the wire. 'Chameleon' Cable Clips and Wraps can be used on any flexible cord found in the household. 

The hazards of flexible cords have been well documented and compiled in the following article.  Hundreds of millions of dollars in property damage a year, thousands of injures and hundreds of deaths occur annually due to electrical fires. HazardGuard has documented just a few of the hazards here.
