What is HazardGuard Wire Technology?

HazardGuard has created a unique patented safety feature that enables wire, cable, plugs, connectors and other electrical conductor insulation to visually change colors (or provide other sensory alerts) of pending electrical faults. The technology senses dangerous hot conditions as a result of excess electrical resistance (e.g. overloads, frayed conductors, poor connections, etc) and/or other convection heat sources. And product designers and manufactures can determine specific polymers, colors and alerting temperatures of the wire, cable, plugs and connector application according to nearly any required specifications!
